Respect the locals and follow surf etiquette, especially when the spot is crowded. The park offers breathtaking sunsets and clear night skies. Amenities include restrooms, showers, and picnic areas. Camping is permitted by permit only. Polihale State Park is the most western publicly accessible area in Hawaii. The beach is several miles long, with sand dunes reaching heights of nearly 100 feet.
