In summer, a rash vest and board shorts are usually sufficient, while a 2mm long sleeve shorty or a 3/2mm spring wetsuit may be needed during cooler months. Always check the surf forecast and report before heading out. Remember to respect the locals and follow surf etiquette, especially if the spot becomes crowded. Check your skills before paddling out to ensure the spot and conditions match your surfing level. Beacon Point offers a unique surfing experience in North Florida, providing consistent waves for those seeking a point break in the area.
