Rangs is a surf spot located in Fiji and Islands, Fiji. The spot sits off the north side of Savusavu and is only accessible by boat, with the closest main access point being Labasa. To get there, you travel from Nadi by plane to Savusavu, then take a bus to Labasa, and from there you need to organize a boat ride that takes about 30 minutes to reach the break. The spot is about 30 kilometers by boat from Labasa. The bottom is a coral reef, so be aware of urchins and sharp coral when surfing. The wave length ranges from 50 to 150 meters and the spot works best at medium and high tide. Rangs is known for its regular surf conditions and is generally empty, so you can often surf without a crowd. The break is a left-hand reef, offering long, hollow, and fast waves, especially during the Southern Hemisphere swell season from April to October.
