Il Botro

Also known as “Dog Beach”. Surf spot located south of the village of San Vincenzo. Beach break with a couple of a-frame peaks, to the left and right of the mouth of the stream. The wave becomes hollow and fun as the size increases, providing barrels when at its best (a few days a year). The best swell direction is from the southwest, west, and northwest. The optimal wind direction for surfing at Il Botro is from the east and southeast. Respect the local crew. Beware, car thieves at work.
