Il Pontile Forte dei Marmi

Il Pontile, located in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, is one of the most renowned surf spots in Versilia, Tuscany. The surf spot at Il Pontile is characterized by a fairly exposed beach/jetty break, offering reliable surf conditions, though it tends to be mostly flat during the summer. The best swell directions are south, southwest, and west. The optimal wind directions are north, northeast, and east. The pier generates waves on both sides, forming very steep and tubular right and left waves on a sandy bottom. In small sea conditions, it’s suitable for beginners. The spot can be crowded, particularly on weekends so review the surf etiquette and respect the other surfers in the water.
