Follonica is a surf spot located in Tuscany, Italy. Not very consistent wave since Follonica is very sheltered by Isola d’Elba e Punta Ala. The best swell direction for this spot is southeast, south, and southwest, while the most favorable wind direction is from the north and northeast. The wave at Follonica forms an A-frame shape, breaking over a sandy sea bottom. Good for beginner surfers or those looking to practice with a softboard or longboard.
