Mareta

Mareta is a surf spot located in Algarve, Portugal. This beach break is known for providing both left and right waves. The sea bottom is sandy, and the waves break at all tides. Mareta is suitable for surfers of all levels, including beginners, who can enjoy the waves with beginner boards and softboards. More experienced surfers might prefer shortboards, mid and retro boards, or longboards. The wave length ranges from 50 to 150 meters, and the spot can get quite crowded. Mareta is particularly good to check when the west coast is maxed out as it needs a big northwest swell to wrap in.
