Conchitas

Conchitas is a surf spot located in Central Peru, Peru. The spot is found near the town of Ancon, and you can reach it by taking a plane to Lima, then a bus to Ancon, and from there a MotoTaxi to Conchitas. The surf spot features a bottom of rocks and sand, and works on all tides. The length of the ride is between 50 and 150 meters. The spot is suitable for all levels, but it is important to check your skills before paddling out, be sure that the spot and the conditions match your level. The frequency of surfable waves is regular, and the crowd is usually few surfers, but it can get busier when the surf is up. The surf spot provides right waves. The best conditions are during the summer months, especially when the wind is offshore from the east-northeast. Conchitas is more often affected by groundswells than windswells, with the ideal swell direction coming from the northwest.
