Miramar is a surf spot located in Northwest, Nicaragua. The spot features a rocky bottom and works best at low tide. The main break is Punta Miramar, a left-point reef break with three main takeoff zones. On bigger swells, the outside sections offer a short, steep right or a long left that runs through to the inside. The inside section works best from waist to head-high, with a fast left that ends in shallow rocks. The surf spot provides left waves. Swells from the south to southwest, especially southwest, are ideal, and the spot works best with mid to long-period single swells. Offshore winds are common for most of the year, with about 300 days of favorable wind conditions. The length of the ride ranges from 50 to 150 meters. The spot is regularly crowded, with four surf camps in the area, and it is not a secret location.
