Banana Beach

Banana Beach is a surf spot located in South Morocco, Morocco, specifically in the area of Aourir. The beach is known for its relaxed atmosphere and is accessible by walking from Taghazoute or by taking a short bus ride or drive. The surf spot is situated near the main road (P 8) Agadir-Essaouira, just before Devil’s Rock. Banana Beach offers both left and right waves, making it suitable for surfers of all levels. The spot features a sandy bottom and can be surfed at all tides. While the quality of the waves is considered normal, the beach is not overly crowded, with only a few surfers typically present. The area is close to other surf spots such as K12, Banana Point, Spiders, K11, and Plage Tamraght. Surfers can rent boards nearby, with Karim being a recommended contact for rentals. The beach faces southwest, providing opportunities to catch waves that are ideal for both beginners and experienced surfers looking for a relaxed session.
