The spot is situated in Mosman Park, a western suburb of Perth on the north bank of the Swan River, with approximately 600 meters of ocean frontage. Mosman is positioned just south of Tincans and features a rocks and sand bottom. The spot provides both left and right waves. This surf location is suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers, as it is not good for beginners. Surfers should be cautious of shallow rocks in the area and avoid going left too often as the reef becomes more shallow towards that side. For surf forecast and report conditions, Mosman works best with southwest, west, and northwest swell directions with a minimum swell height of 2 feet. The optimal wind direction for this surf spot is northeast, east, and southeast. The spot breaks best during medium and high tide and has a wave length of less than 50 meters. Shortboard is the recommended board type for this location. Mosman experiences regular surf frequency and moderate crowd levels.
