Horners is suitable for all experience levels and has a wave length of 50 – 150 meters. The spot typically has few surfers and works best with medium tide conditions. Nearby surf spots include Kealia, Kalapaki Beach, Anahola Bay, Cabbage Heads, and Flags. When surfing Horners, be aware of potential hazards such as rips, undertow, rocks, and sharks. Pass the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, cross Wailua river bridge, and continue north for about 200 yards. Look for a parking lot with a large tree on the right.
