Laconella

South-facing beach break located on the west side of the bay of Lacona, one of the largest beaches on Elba Island. To reach Laconella, you can take a ferry from Piombino to Portoferraio, and then drive south for about 20 minutes. The best swell directions for surfing at Laconella are southeast, south, and southwest. In terms of wind, the spot benefits most from northwest, north, and northeast directions. Laconella is usually not overly crowded, with only a few surfers frequenting the spot. Respect the local crew.
