Northwest-facing beach break situated on the northern coast of the island of Elba. The surf spot is known for its sandy bottom and clear, turquoise waters. To reach La Biodola, you can take a ferry from Piombino to Portoferraio, and then drive west for about 15 minutes. The best swell direction for La Biodola is northwest. In terms of wind direction, east, southeast, and south are the most favorable for this surf spot. Typically not crowded, with only a few surfers.
