Marina di Vecchiano

Series of beach break peaks that can be found in the stretch of coast that goes from the river mouth of Serchio to the Dunadonda. The sand bars change very frequently so the peaks change position at every swell. The best swell direction for this surf spot is southwest and west, while the most favorable wind direction is northeast and east. The quality of the wave can range from sloppy to very good depending on the swell period and the sand bar. Torre del Lago is not a crowded surf spot. Beware, car thieves at work.
