Tiger Tracks

Tiger Tracks is a surf spot located in Java, Indonesia. The surf spot provides both left and right waves. It’s situated within the Alas Purwo National Park in East Java, about an hour’s walk from the main G-Land surf camps. The spot features a coral reef and sand bottom, suitable for all levels of surfers. Tiger Tracks works best during medium and high tides. The waves at this spot are regular and less than 50m in length. The lineup is usually not crowded, with only a few surfers in the water. The right-hand wave at Tiger Tracks is known for its mellow nature, breaking over a dead coral reef. It works well with a southwest swell direction, starting from around 2 feet. The left-hand wave offers a more assertive ride, also favoring a southwest swell direction. Both waves are best surfed during mid to high tide to avoid the exposed reef at lower tides. Tiger Tracks serves as a softer alternative to the more intense waves of G-Land. To reach the spot, you need to trek through the national park, crossing several bridges. ‘Jembatan Gebang’ is a notable landmark indicating proximity to the spot.
